At Magdala, every program we offer is inviting us to delve deeper into God's mystery, grow in our faith, and allow His love to transform our lives. Over the coming months, we invite you to continue walking with us through experiences designed to renew our spirit and shape our hearts following Christ.
On October 28th, we conclude the biblical course The Lord's Passover. This time of study has allowed us to contemplate Jesus' triumph over death, a victory that calls us to live in hope, knowing that evil never has the final word. This course reminds us that, as disciples, we are invited to participate in the new life Christ offers us daily.
Starting now, we begin the virtual pilgrimage of Walking through the Holy Land with St. Luke, a unique opportunity to spiritually journey through the places where the Son of God walked. Through the eyes of the Gospel of Luke, we draw closer to the holy sites and deepen our understanding of the living Word, allowing each step to bring us closer to Jesus.
On November 18th, we open the doors to a new biblical course: The Acts of the Apostles. This book of the New Testament teaches us about the birth of the Church and challenges us to be brave witnesses of faith, just as the first Christians were. This course inspires us to live out our mission of spreading the Gospel message with greater conviction in a world that needs authentic witnesses.
Our Spiritual Exercises continue through November 22nd, and we encourage you to take advantage of this sacred time to disconnect from the noise and find God's voice in the silence. Spiritual formation is not just the accumulation of knowledge but a process of inner transformation that prepares us to be true instruments of God's love in the world.
Lastly, we are preparing for a new Advent program, a time to open our hearts, be shaped by the waiting, and joyfully prepare for the birth of Jesus. Advent is a call to conversion, a time to deepen our relationship with the Lord and allow the light of Christ to illuminate every corner of our lives.
Spiritual formation is essential for our personal and communal growth. Every step we take in these programs is a seed of hope that, when it blooms, makes us better disciples of Christ, capable of reflecting His love to the world. Come and grow with us on this journey of faith!
