23. Ancient Philippi & the Via Egnatia

Walk through the ancient ruins of Philippi, a city where Paul and Silas preached, suffered persecution, and witnessed miraculous events (Acts 16:16-40). The remains of the Roman Forum and ancient theater tell the story of a place where faith took root amid challenge and opposition. It was here that Paul’s imprisonment led to an earthquake and the conversion of a jailer, showing how God’s power turns suffering into salvation. The legacy of Philippi invites us to stand firm in faith, trusting in God’s providence even in trials.
