4. Paul's Conversion
Standing before the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, we recall one of the most pivotal moments in Christian history—Paul’s encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9). Once a zealous persecutor of Christians, Saul was struck down by a divine light, hearing the voice of Jesus calling him to a new mission. This dramatic transformation marked the beginning of his journey as the Apostle to the Gentiles, carrying the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
Paul’s conversion is a powerful reminder that God’s grace can transform any heart, no matter how distant from Him it may seem. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, we are invited to embrace the possibility of renewal in our own lives—to allow Christ to lead us beyond our plans and into His divine purpose. Just as Paul was blinded before he could truly see, we are called to surrender to God’s light and walk in the path He has prepared for us.
