32. Ancient Miletus - Palm Sunday

In the ancient port city of Miletus, we stand where Paul delivered his emotional farewell to the Ephesian elders (Acts 20:17-38). Knowing he would not see them again, Paul exhorted them to remain faithful shepherds of God’s flock, warning of future challenges but urging them to trust in God’s grace. This moment captures Paul’s deep love for the communities he founded and his unwavering commitment to the Gospel.
Amidst the ruins of Miletus’ grand theater and Harbor Monument, we reflect on the sacrifice and perseverance required in spreading the faith. Just as Paul entrusted the Church to God’s care, we too are called to carry forward the mission, relying on the strength of the Holy Spirit to guide and sustain us.
