2. Introductory Talk 2: Rabbi's Steps

At the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, we reflect on the profound influence of Jewish tradition in Paul’s formation as a rabbi and Pharisee. Before becoming the great Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul was a devout student of the Law, deeply rooted in the teachings of his ancestors. Walking these ancient steps, we contemplate how his knowledge of Scripture and his fervor for God prepared him for his dramatic encounter with Christ and his mission to spread the Gospel.
This moment in the pilgrimage invites us to consider our own journey of faith. Just as Paul transitioned from rigid adherence to the Law to embracing the fullness of the Gospel, we are called to open our hearts to God's transformative grace. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, we ask for the wisdom to recognize Christ’s call in our lives and the courage to follow it with unwavering trust.
